the marlin cabrio was very much the same as the mk1, it had ford sierra parts and looked very much the same except for one difference, see marlin were getting in complaints about how the cabrio mk1 was to small so the taller folk couldnt fit in so marlin made a few tweeks on the chassic design which was a long wheel base version also known as the mk2.
